We bought two of these bookcases. They came on time. They are well built, sturdy as can be with thick shelves that I doubt will ever sag under my load of heavy books, and the finish is gorgeous. We couldn't be happier with them. Three small caveats though: 1. They don't come full assembled. The legs have to be bolted on, but that takes no time and is so simple that any 10 year old could do it. 2. Nowhere in the ad did it say they are made in Viet Nam, but the cartons they came in say "Made in Viet Nam". I had assumed they were made where the company is based in San Diego. 3. They were very well packed, with plenty of foam protection, but maybe too much. The cardboard and foam packing from two bookshelves completely filled our full-size station wagon. The cardboard is recyclable, but not the foam and plastic packing.
