Good quality for the current price-point. Out of the box and assembled in minutes. Not exactly sure how it will perform for comfort. I think for the ladies it may be more comfortable than for the guys. It has good adjustment for height and for foward/back tilt. The padding seems durable and well molded, but the upturn of the saddle at the front may be a bit tight for most guys.It is a great stool but the seat is a little hard on the bum. I hope to reupholster to add a bit of cushion it in the near future. Prolonged sitting won't happen until then.I bought this stool to ease the tension in my lower back when I sew. It takes a bit of practice to learn how to sit on it correctly, but when you do, it feels really good. There are videos on line to help you get the hang of adjusting and using a saddle stool, and they were helpful in getting started with the stool. Then I just had to make sitting on it correctly a habit. Now I wouldn't trade it for any other chair. I want another one for my computer desk.I like it but it needs more padding - or a padded cover - my seat bones feel it after prolonged use. The style is better on my back (lower and upper) and it rolls easily on carpet.Operationally and anatomically, I think this chair is fine. It gets to the height I need and fits my rear. The problem is that the seat is harder than stone. I don't know how they managed that. Your rear will be sore using this. I'm suffering right now and will soon duct tape some foam to it.now that I've had this for a couple weeks... I realize it is Hard on the rear not nearly as comfortable as my old onetakes a while to get used too, bottom was sore for a whileOddly harder and uncomfortable than it looks. Not sure if it’s a really poor design or what. I have used ones that look exactly like this and feel great. I missed the boat on returning it and couldn’t pay anyone to take it. If you’re a dental hygienist looking to save your back do yourself a favor and purchase one from the rep. It would be worth the $400. This one isn’t worth $4. ??‍♀️Wanted to really like this stool but it is so hard that it is not comfortable for more then 20 to 30 minutes. The top isn't padded with any type of foam/cloth like most stools or chairs but rather is just molded rubber. The shape is great and the mechanics work well but since the entire thing is hard rubber it is not practical to use for very long.I tired to return this item but Amazon.ca says it is not eligible for return. It should make a good garage stool, the one nice thing about it being solid rubber is it should be very very durable.I’m rating it 1 star because if feel that most people looking to purchase this would be office workers like myself who want to this stool to be something they can sit in for and entire work day. Unfortunately do to the lack of padding this just isn’t the case.We weren’t able to obtain full assembly instructions, even from the seller. A bolt fell out of the stool very early on and we still don’t know exactly where it came from or what its function was. I do still enjoy sitting on the stool, howeverAll was good
